After the storm
DONATE YOUR ROOFâ„
RAPLOR’s company initiative, “The Giving Roof,” aims to give back to our community partners one roof at a time. When you refer your family, friends, and neighbors to RAPLOR, they will restore their homes and/or businesses, and 5% of the proceeds will be donated back to the Fridley Fire Foundation to provide equipment and resources that support the health and wellness of Fridley Firefighters. RAPLOR’s objective is to bring about change and assist in protecting those who protect us.
Raplor Restoration is a community partner that assists in restoring homes and businesses in your municipality that have been damaged by storm or fire. Not only that, but they also make a valuable contribution to the local fire department by donating a portion of their proceeds, which helps to fund the department and support the health and wellness of the firefighters.
Insurance companies typically prefer that you have your home inspected by a general contractor before filing a claim. While this can be an overwhelming experience amidst storm damage in your neighborhood, RAPLOR is here to help. We have years of experience and expertise in dealing with insurance claims and are dedicated to helping our clients through the entire process.
In your presence, we will contact your insurance company to ascertain the requirements for filing a claim on your behalf. Once a claim is initiated, an adjuster will be assigned to your file, and a claim number will be provided. During the assessment, we will represent you and meet your adjuster on your behalf.
After the storm, RAPLOR will upgrade your roof to a Class 3 shingle. Once your Giving Roof project is complete, you will receive a certificate of completion that will verify the installation of your upgraded impact-proof shingles. At this point, you will remit this to your insurance company to receive your discount.
Once the job is complete, a portion of the proceeds from your job will be directly donated to your choice of our approved non-profit partners.* This will not add any additional charges to your claim in any way, but as a homeowner, you are still responsible for the deductible on your insurance policy.
After the job is finished, donations are disbursed. These donations support relief associations and non-profit organizations that enable firefighters to acquire necessary gear and promote their health and wellness.
What does it mean to
DONATE YOUR ROOF?
When storm damage occurs, the restoration process is the same except for two defining aspects of THE GIVING ROOFâ„ program. Proceeds from your insurance claim will be directly donated to one of our approved non-profit partners of your choosing. As a homeowner, you are still responsible for your deductible, and this will not add additional charges to your claim in any way.
How do I qualify to receive a 20% or higher savings with my insurance carrier?
Once your Giving Roofâ„ project is complete, you will receive a certificate of completion that will verify the installation of your upgraded impact-proof shingles. At this point, you will remit this to your insurance company and receive your discount.
How is The Giving Roof different from other restoration processes?
When storm damage occurs, the restoration process is the same except for two defining aspects of THE GIVING ROOFâ„ program. The first is the charitable donation to one of our approved non-profit partners, and the second is your reward for choosing The Giving Roofâ„ . Every Giving Roofâ„ homeowner will receive a complementary impact-proof shingle, resulting in thousands of future savings from your insurance company.
